Bronze ball valves The 77C “Contractor” Series full-port bronze ball valve line has been extended to include a new 2-1/2" model. The new 2-1/2" models feature a chrome-plated machined brass ball, rather than a cheaper hollow cast ball, giving the valve outstanding flow characteristics. Low-Loss Header and Low-Loss Header Plus Low-Loss Header (LLH) and Low-Loss Header Plus (LLH-Plus), which can be piped from either side for primary/secondary piping, provides piping for zone supply and return connections. Shut-off flange Five new larger sizes to the Shut-Off Freedom Flange line have been added. The new sizes range from 1-1/4" npt up to 2-1/2" sweat. Freedom flanges combine a full port, ball valve and companion flange to isolate system circulators for easy removal and service, without having to drain the system. The new sizes include 1-1/2" sweat for standard “00” circulators and 1-1/4" npt and sweat, and 2-1/4", 2-1/2" sweat for use with larger bolt circle 0012-F4, 1400-30 and 1400-40 models. Taco Inc.

Condensing wall-mounted boiler A manufacturer of high efficiency stainless steel heating equipment, company announced the availability of the all-new Prestige Excellence. The Prestige Excellence is a condensing wall-mounted boiler with a built in “tank-in-tank” indirect fired water heater. The first of its kind, this 95% afue boiler incorporates a 15-gallon indirect fired water heater in the cabinet that is capable of producing over 180 gph of domestic hot water. Isolator uni-flange ball valve Designed for residential and commercial use with water and oil. The forged brass body and flange provide strength and versatility for any application where a pipe and flange meet. This company-approved valve features a solid hard chrome-plated brass ball with reinforced Teflon seats and a blowout-proof stem sealed with Teflon (PTFE), actuated by a vinyl-coated stamped steel handle.
