For traditional hydronic space heating or radiant floor heating apps, the wall-mount and floor-standing knight heating boilers offer tremendous savings on energy costs. In fact, knight has earned the energy star qualification, signifying that it has met strict energy efficiency guidelines set by the epa. The fully modulating 5:1 turndown burner allows the knight to keep fuel use to an absolute minimum by adjusting heat output according to demand. With a 93% doe afue efficiency rating on the 80 to 285 models and a 95% thermal efficiency rating on the 399 and 500 models, knight cuts heating costs in half. Grooved end butterfly valve Series 89-gen grooved end butterfly valves feature a ductile iron body, buna-n or epdm encapsulated ductile iron disc, a 431 stainless steel two-piece stem and Teflon shaft bushings with nrb O-ring shaft seals.
